How to Request a Refund on DAREN

One of the key features DAREN offer is the ability to request refunds, ensuring that our users have a safety net in their transactions. This guide is designed to help first-time users navigate the refund process on DAREN smoothly.

1. Refund Conditions:

Buyers can request a refund after payment and before confirming the order.
Since sellers can automatically withdraw funds 7 days after submitting the order, buyers need to request a refund within 7 days of the seller’s order submission.

2. Accessing the My Order Page:

Log into your DAREN account.
Click on the menu at the top right corner to enter the “My Order” page.

3. Find the Order:

In the “My Order”, find the order you want to refund.

4. Request a Refund:

Click the three dots at the top right corner of the order and select “Request Refund.”

5. Communicate with the Seller:

Before applying for a refund, it is recommended to communicate with the seller through the DAREN platform.
Explain the reason for the refund and ask the seller to agree to it.

6. Refund Status Update:

If the seller accept the refund, the order status will be updated to “ACCEPT_REFUND.”

If the seller does not agree to the refund, the buyer can request arbitration, see how to apply for arbitration on the DAREN platform.

7. Completing the Refund:

Once the order status is updated to “ACCEPT_REFUND,” you can click the “Refund” button to receive a full refund from the order.
The refund operation will consume a certain amount of on-chain gas fees, so make sure your wallet has a sufficient balance.

8. Email Notifications:

At various stages of the transaction, including updates on order status, the DAREN platform will notify you via email.
Ensure your email address is correct and check your emails regularly.
